EORI SIREN: implementation on 1 January 2026
EORI format update
Please be advised that the EORI numbers in France will change on 1 January 2026. (The EORI number corresponds to your European customs identifier).
A new format based on the SIREN will come into force next year.
At present, EORI numbers are composed on the basis of the SIRET of each establishment: FR + 14 digits of the SIRET.
All French importers/exporters still have a few months to apply for the new EORI SIREN, which will consist of FR + 9 digits.
This new format will be compulsory from 1 January 2026 in order to import or export goods.
